Hi gorgeous! I can’t believe it—I actually have a website now! So much has happened lately that feels surreal, and now I am starting this business, which is also one of my passions.

Not too long ago, I was completely stuck, jobless, with no idea where I was going—just procrastinating, scrolling endlessly on TikTok, checking social media, and staring at the sky (yep, real productive stuff 😂). Then, out of nowhere, it’s like the universe was like, “Oh, you’re feeling stuck? Well, here’s a whole bunch of things to keep you busy!” Suddenly, ideas and motivation started pouring in, and I was like, "Okay, I guess I’m doing this now!" Life really has a funny way of working, right? I’d been in what some might call a Season of Waiting. And let me tell you, that phase taught me so much. If you're in it now, trust me when I say, “Be excited”—even though it doesn’t feel like it at first. One second you're living in a fast-paced world, and the next, you have to be still—forced to pause, reflect, and appreciate the quiet moments that often go unnoticed. You’ll learn a lot—about God, yourself, about life, and the people around you. Do you. Embrace each emotion. Cry if you need to, laugh if you’re happy. Worry if you must, but don’t give up! Remember, every feeling has its place, and each one brings you closer to understanding yourself. Keep going—you’re stronger than you know. If you’re in this season, I hope your faith won’t fail you. This was the same thing Jesus said to Peter during a painful loss. It became my mantra every time I faced something bigger than myself. When we try to make sense of everything with only our own understanding, it can feel impossible. And when we try to make it through with only our own strength, it truly is impossible. Some battles aren’t ours to fight. Sometimes, all we can do is trust that there’s a bigger plan, even if we don’t understand it right away. I get now why some people feel so lost that they want to give up; in those moments, it can genuinely seem like there’s no other way, but to end it. It’s a tough, complicated place to be, and honestly, sometimes all we need is a reminder that we’re not alone in it. I was super blessed to have amazing people—and God—helping me through. So hang in there—as cliché as it sounds, this too shall pass, just like every season!

So, this little shift began with a banana carrot loaf. I'd like to think I’m pretty good at cooking, but when it comes to baking, it’s been a bit of a love-hate relationship. I’ve never been one to follow recipes or rules to the letter, but baking taught me that sometimes, you HAVE to if you WANT to.

My first successful banana carrot loaf was such a hit at home—even I was impressed with how it turned out! Some people love it warm, but personally, I think it’s even better when it’s chilled from the fridge. Then one day, my niece tried it and said she liked it. Now, she’s not exactly a veggie lover (like many of us), so I was surprised when she ate it and actually enjoyed it. That’s when the light bulb went off—I should totally sell this! If I can trick someone into enjoying veggies, I’m clearly onto something, right?

The thing is, I kept tweaking the recipe—adding this, changing that. You know how it is! I guess it’s the Libra in me. Big shoutout to my fellow Libras who know the struggle of making a decision—because why settle for one option when you could weigh all 27 possibilities first?😂 But finally, I landed on it: my very first creation for sale would be a banana carrot loaf topped with cream cheese frosting. It’s a delicious blend of flavors, and I couldn’t be more excited to share it with you all!

A moist banana carrot loaf studded with crunchy walnuts and sweet pineapple bits, topped with a rich cream cheese frosting. Making the frosting by hand isn’t my favorite part, but it’s definitely worth the effort! Then I decided to add more toppings like cranberries, sliced almonds, and pistachio bits (sometimes Brazilian nuts) so you can enjoy an extra burst of flavor and texture in every bite! Each slice is a perfect blend of warmth, sweetness, and texture—ideal for any time of day! I decided to skip the white sugar (told you I’m not the best at sticking to recipes! 😂), but it still turned out perfectly sweet and full of natural flavor. Plus, I added a secret ingredient. So far, it’s been a huge hit with everyone who’s tried it. Hey, for 280 pesos, it's totally worth it...and they keep coming back for more!

Be sure to check out our Facebook page for feedback from happy customers who’ve already tried it! It’s one thing when people buy your products, but when they come back for more—now that’s a whole new level of joy! I believe that while money can bring happiness, following your passion brings real joy. Money provides temporary comfort, but passion offers lasting fulfillment. It’s not about choosing one over the other—it’s about how each can help you grow and live a more meaningful life.

Who needs a reason to enjoy banana carrot loaf? One bite and you'll understand!

God bless everyone! Shalom ❤️
